For me, setting smart goals is all about organizing my life. I like to start everything in the morning, and I like to have everything well set out before I start. In fact, people who do have psychic abilities, tend to experience them outside of a clinical setting, which makes the experience and report purely anecdotal, that is, lacking in quantifiable, scientifically repeatable proof.
