Twenty First Century Alcohol Statistics, UK & Worldwide
November 29th, 2009 by BloWhatever your thought about the Twenty First Century Alcohol Statistics, UK or Worldwide, the fact of the matter is that the trend for alcohol abuse is on the up and particularly among young teenagers. Oddly enough, in the UK, there are more teenage girls than boys taking up drinking and smoking. It seems that education of the harmful effects of these so call social lubricants and stimulants fall on death ears and everyone has to go through their own experimenting, or not, before either taking control back of their lives, their health and general wellbeing. Sadly, there are far too many of young people in modem societies whose lives spiral way out of control before they get a grip, and that’s just the lucky ones. Rehab centres are big business these days, but with a success rate of just a few percent, it appears that a fresh new look has to be taken on the prevention and treatment of alcohol and drug abuse if the trend for alcohol abuse stats is to reverse. So long as it’s easy and legal to go shopping for mind altering products which can kill us and destruct the lives of those around us, we have little chance of success!
