How to Read Dating Ads
January 23rd, 2010 by BloHow to Read those Dating Ads is no easy task. That’s not to say they’re complicated to understand, in fact most are far from it and are both easy to read and nice to look at. Many a dating profile, AKA the personal, have pictures, text descriptions, and specifics as to what the single is looking for in an ideal partner. The problem is how to read between the lines of so many of these online dating ads that are uploaded by the millions these days. Almost everyone but the genuine youth lie about their age and weight (especially if a little on the heavy side), occupational title, qualifications, plus their interests and hobbies along with any other self promotional areas they may wish to make a tad dapper. It’s a bit like sprucing up a resume to impress a future employer, only it’s perhaps a little more deceiving when looking for love as a heavily misleading profile might be dragging some poor sod up the garden path so to speak. The good news is that every decent online dating site has sections dedicated to educating members about such things and how to identify and avoid those deceptive ads. That’s right, there are patterns and things to look out for, along with simple tips like getting them to chat on the webcam so that the dog can really see the rabbit. Good luck! Online dating is a lot of fun, but a little education and preparation will save you from virtual tears and wasted time.
