When my girlfriend first suggested that I get a portable eBook reader, I was a little bit skeptical. Although I have been an avid reader for many years and a high tech geek for almost as long, eBook readers seemed to make me just a little bit nervous. I was so used to the process of reading normal books. I loved being able to just curl up with a good novel and hang out all afternoon, lying in bed and reading it. An eBook reader seemed so artificial in comparison to the feeling of paper under my fingers. Nonetheless, I decided to finally break down and get one. I was already reading e-books online and, although I didn’t really like sitting at my computer screen to read novels, I couldn’t deny the convenience of it.
