Hardwood Floors or Laminate Floors? One would assume the choice is determined by cost alone as most folks would prefer to improve their home with hardwood floors over laminate if they have the cash. That said, it’s important not to underestimate the great look and feel that many laminate (manufactured product that simulates the look of hardwood flooring) surfaces can produce. With such a reduction in cost compared to some of the top hardwood choices, laminate offers some fantastic alternatives. Even so, if you have 2 rooms the same, one covered with natural hardwood and the other with a quality laminate, the difference in feel, look, and quality, will be obvious.  If you have nothing to compare the laminate to, then it will look and feel just great too.
