You know those small Texas towns you hear about where they say that high school football is more of a religion than a sport? Well, things are the same way in many places outside the Lone Star state, including my own town. We don’t have any pro or college sports teams to cheer for, so we focus our attention on the prep leagues instead. And since we’re fortunate enough to have one of the top high school football teams in the entire country, we like to keep up with what’s happening on the national stage as well. Doing so is easier than ever these days, thanks to the Internet. I remember trying to keep up with high school football 15 years ago before the Internet was as widespread as it is now.
