Some choose to have work stations in their bedrooms, exercise equipment, and even family photos. This is a mistake when it comes to bedroom design. Those things all remind us that we have something else to do, and family pictures can make sexual intimacy a bit hard and can make being with your partner awkward at best. Concentrate on removing everything other than bed, dressers, and comfortable sitting spots when working on bedroom design. Move the computer elsewhere, and get the exercise machine out as well. Who can truly relax when they are feeling guilty about not exercising? Who can sleep when they see work or bills piled up next to the computer? If you have your wedding photo in your bedroom, that can work, but pictures of your parents, children, and even your friends can mess up the intimate feeling that you should be having in that room.
