There is nothing like seeing a Picasso painting in person. There are thousands of paintings by Pablo Picasso, and only a few of them are well known. Nonetheless, every single one of them is a masterpiece. Even the simplest one cannot be fully re-created by reproduction. That is the purpose of having originals, after all. No matter how good the reproduction is, something is lost in the translation. The reason I mention this is because of the popularity of Pablo Picasso paintings nowadays. It seems like every week I see another Picasso print in a friend’s house. The problem is that the quality varies greatly between one reproduction and another.
