If you are that person, and you are trying to move past what has happened, you have to allow your partner to go through whatever emotions they need to feel. This part of rebuilding trust in relationships is very important. If your partner feels that you are dismissing or belittling their pain, the trust will never come back. Let them yell and scream at you if they must, and let them question you about whatever comes to mind. If you do this, the trust in relationships that you once shared has a better chance of coming back. For the injured party, trust in relationships is much harder to find again. You have a right to feel your pain, and you should do all you can to let it out and get it behind you.
