I used to love rave parties. The cool thing about them was that you could come as you are. You generally didn’t have to get dressed up in any particular way. After all, everyone was so into the music and so completely tranced out that it didn’t really matter. Nonetheless, it did make things better when you had the right rave clothing. Rave clothes were bright and colorful, flowing and outrageous. They were the perfect thing to wear on a night out in some strange warehouse in some far off part of town. They showed your spirit of adventure and your youth.
